About BARC Shelter

Brooklyn Animal Resource Coalition, BARC, is located in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York. Founded over 20 years ago, BARC has rescued and found homes for thousands of animals from all over the city. There is an exhaustive website for BARC: here, and a blog: here. The website has adoption information with downloadable forms, shelter hours, info about upcoming events, and many ways to volunteer and get involved with a terrific group of dogs and cats, and humans!
